An opinion essay
An opinion essay is a formal writing which requires your opinion on a topic. Your opinion should be stated clearly. You will give various reasons on the topic and these will be supported by examples. You could also include an opposing viewpoint in a paragraph.

A good way to start is by using the four-paragraph essay structure.
