We are lucky in our country that we can go to a tap and get clean, fresh water to use. However, not everyone is able to do this. In other countries, people may have to walk miles to fill buckets from rivers to collect water which is unsafe to drink.
There are over 1.7 billion people around the world who do not have basic sanitation, such as private toilets.
