Intergovernmental

Organizations

Intergovernmental Organizations are international
groups that get together to solve an international
problem or problems such as economies stricken with
corruption or lack of natural resources.

When these problems occur developed countries of the
world get together and create intergovernmental
organizations that assist vulnerable people who otherwise
would not receive the assistance they need to acquire
basic necessities like food, water, shelter, education, and
economic growth.

Since these intergovernmental organizations are backed
by the governments of multiple countries, they are
capable of taking on large projects that have a widespread
impact on the communities they hope to reach.
