The judicial branch is responsible for
interpreting the laws.
There are 3 parts:

The Supreme Court
2.
The Appellate courts
3.
The District courts

determines if court decisions are
constitutional or unconstitutional
(does the law follow the
constitution?).

approved by Senate.
10. Serve for life or until they resign,
retire, or are impeached.

Appellate courts
11. There are 13 appellate courts.
12. They hear cases that are appeals
from the district courts and decisions
from federal agencies.

District courts
13. There are 94 federal district courts.
14. Hear cases involving federal law
that are civil or criminal in nature.
