​The Great Factory Sabotaged

After the Frozen Hearted War, Russia had sent many spies to sabotage Sanctuary. Many of these had failed, though one had succeeded. This was called Mission Zetta. This was when a group of Russian spies had managed to successfully sabotage the Great Factory. Causing the nuclear reactors to become very unstable.

The Council of Ziggurat

Due to the fact that their products were in jeopardy due to the instability of the nuclear reactors. A council was set up called the Council of Ziggurat. This council had set up a meeting in attempt to find a way to keep these nuclear reactors from melting down. Many see this as a failure due to...

Nuclear Meltdown

January 23 2223, the first day a sanctuarian factory had failed. A man had tripped and fallen into the main nuclear reactor of the Great Factory. This, of course, had killed the man. It had also had given so much energy to the reactor that it caused a power surge that resulted in the meltdown of the nuclear core. This resulted in an explosion larger then any other man-made explosion. This day was then on known as the Sanctuarian Power Surge.

​Project: Delta

After the many deaths that resulted from the Sanctuarian Power Surge, the current leading sectors of Sanctuary had all worked to find a more stable way to power buildings rather than using nuclear fusion. Many green ways were suggested such as wind power or solar power, though the winning idea of the project was created by Ziggurat.

​The Zigguration Factory

After the ideas that came up during Project: Delta were put in use, a new large factory had taken over. This had used Newfield power to create many products which can be sold by Ziggurat. Though, this Newfield power did a number on the ecosystem due to the burning of Newfield glass releasing the heavily dense Goros into the air.

The Republic of Ziggurat

The Republic of Ziggurat was a small governmental party that popped up after Project: Delta. This party ruled along with Sarah, keeping Sanctuary from going in debt due to her rule. Though, their ways seemed almost tyrannical to others. From the increase of work hours to the decrease of wages. Many did not like this party.

​Increase of Global Warming

Due to the high amount of goros in the air (a chemical that is very dense), Sanctuary had spent a day in a deep grey fog. This fog had heavily contributed to an increase of global warming as the goros absorbed the sunlight and directed it around the world. This had many consiqeuences.

​Sanctuarian Heat Wave

The Sanctuarian Heat Wave was an event where large amounts of global warming had caused a global heat wave mainly affecting Sanctuary. Temperatures exceeded the hundreds despite Sanctuary being in a few months of darkness. This had led to more power being used to keep everyone cool. This, in turn, had increased global warming

The Great Splitting

Due to the increase of heat, one day a large chunk of Sanctuarian ice had simply broken off. This carrying many towns to their deaths with Sanctuarian leaders unable to stop them from exiting the Great Dome to float into oblivion. Years later, their bodies were found drowned in the Atlantic Ocean.

The Great Flood

With large amounts of Antarctic and Arctic ice melting, disaster struck Sanctuary and other nations close to water. This caused a large flood that attacked all who lived by the coast. This led to a flood that put many countries underwater. Many still suffered the consequences of this flood years after with the rising water levels killing millions per year, and this flood killing billions.

​Tensions Rise

With the failure of the Zigguration factory, people began to lose hope in the Republic of Ziggurat. This led to many rebellions in Sanctuary such as the Illisian rebelion and the Babbelean rebelion, each resulting in the arrests of many important people and the deaths of many others. People call these days the "Sanctuarian Rebellions".

Fall of the Republic of Ziggurat

With the death of quite a few of their members, the Republic of Ziggurat publicly resigned on November 23, 2222. Many believe they had expected this would happen from the beginning. But, with Sarah now the only one in power, Sanctuary returned to its ways before the republic, but after the founders.
