Different types of writing appear or are organized differently. Why might this be? What could be the purpose of different structures in writing?

Different types of expository writing have different structures
(think of instructions to build something, for example).

Expository essays have three main parts:

1. Introduction: Introduces the reader to the topic and provides the
main idea of the essay.
2. Body paragraphs: Reasons that support the main idea, with
examples and details.
3. Conclusion: Summarizes the main idea and describes a larger
connection.

List your questions you wrote from last lesson: the ones on your assigned top
If you don't have them you will think of 5 questions and answer them on one the following topic: Mountains, Grapes, or Elephants
Make sure to write these down you will need them for next activity

your essay, you will:
Explain how authors use different techniques to create
believable fantasy worlds.
