It's important to remember that adjectives describing personality change according to gender in French (like Italian or Spanish, too)

There are rules that apply, which we will look at in the next slides.

• Ends with a consonant (except X) : add -E

• Ends with -E : no change

• Ends with -EUX: becomes -EUSE

​Consonants:

b, c, d, f, g, j, k, l, m, n, p, q, r, s, t, y, x, z.

​Vowels:

a, e, i, o, u, sometimes y and h in French
