AED

is a method for manually pumping blood to a person’s vital organs and breathing air into their lungs when their heartbeat or breathing has stopped. Keeping the blood flowing to those organs is critical, and can sustain them until help arrives.

CPR

CPR vs. AED

เป็นวิธีการสูบฉีดเลือดไปยังอวัยวะสำคัญของบุคคลด้วยตนเอง และหายใจเอาอากาศเข้าปอด การทำให้เลือดไหลเวียนไปยังอวัยวะเหล่านั้นเป็นสิ่งสำคัญ และสามารถรักษาอวัยวะเหล่านั้นไว้ได้จนกว่าความช่วยเหลือจะมาถึง

is a machine used to treat SCA, a life-threatening condition where the heart suddenly stops beating properly. By sending an electric shock to the heart of a person in cardiac arrest, the AED restores a normal heart rhythm.

เป็นเครื่องที่ใช้ในการรักษา SCA ซึ่งเป็นภาวะที่คุกคามชีวิตซึ่งหัวใจหยุดเต้นกะทันหัน ด้วยการส่งไฟฟ้าช็อตไปยังหัวใจของผู้ที่หัวใจหยุดเต้น เครื่อง AED จะคืนจังหวะการเต้นของหัวใจให้เป็นปกติ

SCA = Sudden Cardiac Arrest ภาวะหัวใจหยุดเต้นเฉียบพลัน

If you see someone having a cardiac arrest, call 1669, start CPR, and get someone to find a defibrillator. Once you get the defibrillator, turn it on and follow the instructions.

When to use an AED

A defibrillator should be used when a person is in cardiac arrest. CPR should be done until you can get a defibrillator.

ควรใช้เครื่องกระตุ้นหัวใจเมื่อบุคคลอยู่ในภาวะหัวใจหยุดเต้น ควรทำ CPR จนกว่าคุณจะได้รับเครื่องกระตุ้นหัวใจ

หากคุณพบเห็นผู้ที่มีภาวะหัวใจหยุดเต้น ให้โทร 1669 เริ่มทำ CPR และให้หาเครื่องกระตุ้นหัวใจ เมื่อคุณได้เครื่องกระตุ้นหัวใจแล้ว ให้เปิดเครื่องและทำตามคำแนะนำ

If the patient is soaked or wet, do not use AED. Use a towel to dry the patient before using AED.

If the patient has a hairy chest, try to press the pad to the chest or shave the hair before applying pad.

Do not touch the patient while the AED is operating.

กรณีผู้ป่วยตัวเปียกน้ำ ห้ามใช้เครื่อง AED ให้ใช้ผ้าเช็ดให้แห้งก่อนจึงค่อยติด pad

กรณีผู้ป่วยมีขนหน้าอกมาก ทำให้แผ่นนำไฟฟ้าไม่ติดแนบสนิทกับหน้าอก ให้ลองกดให้แนบสนิท ถ้ายังไม่ได้ให้โกนขนออกก่อน

ห้ามสัมผัสตัวผู้ป่วยขณะที่เครื่อง AED กำลังทำงานเด็ดขาด
