Respecting a Speaker:
1.When a speaker is presenting, it is essential to give your full attention. Nothing else matters but what they are attempting to share. Listening is a sign of respect. It shows that you value what the speaker has to say.

2.Avoid and ignore all distractions, no exceptions of any sort. (Refrain from cell phone usage, side-bar conversation, any outburst of any sort)

3.Show active interest when listening to the speaker, sit upright in your chair. Ask extensive questions that may possibly increase the depth of knowledge of the subject, in which will "soothe" the speaker in delivery.

4.When asking questions, please ask the question to your self initially before asking aloud. Make sure the question has not already been addressed in their presentation. Take mental notes.

5.Be sure to recall what the speaker says initially when you are asking a question... For example, You stated that you were a graduate of Harvard majored in education, what advice do you have a high school senior who wants to join that same path?
