​Definition : Short message artinya pesan pendek atau pesan singkat. Teks ini untuk memberitahukan sesuatu kepada orang lain. Biasanya short message ditujukan kepada keluarga atau teman.

Function : To give important information, to remind someone about something, to give short command / instruction.

Short Message

Definition : Pernyataan tertulis atau lisan yang digunakan untuk memberitahukan kepada seseorang mengenai sesuatu.

Function : To announcement or give information about something for public.

​Announcement

Opening : The title or type of event

Content : Date, place, program.

closing : For more information

writer : Someone who make the announcement

Announcement

Receiver : Penerima pesan

Content : Isi pesan

Sender : Pengirim pesan

There are two types of announcement ; written and spoken.

We can find announcement in school, office, public places, public transportation

​Announcement

1. Menggunakan Simple Present Tense: S+VI+…

(I have an OSIS meeting)
2. Menggunakan Past Perfect Tense: S+Have+V III +…

(I’ve prepared some food for breakfast)
3. Menggunakan Present Continuous Tense: S+be (am, is, are)+V(ing) (I am waiting the cakes)
4. Menggunakan Imperative Sentence: (Go to…..! Don’t tell…!)
