It is the bell. Class is done. Her mom has to work, but Cass is not glum any more. Cass has pals in Class Six, and Miss Bond is fun. Cass skips off to Class Six with the teacher who went with her before.

Fran and Ken pull Cass into Class Six. “What did Miss Bond plan for us, Fran?” Cass asked.

“It is Craft Day, Cass!” Fran winked at Cass and added, “We kids think and plan, and then we make stuff.

Ken got a soft cloth sack and stamped spots on it. “Add more spots,” Fran prompted him.

Ken did just that. Then he pulled the sack up on his hand. “Spot is a dog that can do tricks,” said Ken.

Cass got a thin red box and added fins and gills. Then she slid sticks in the box and held it up with them.

“Is that a fish, Cass?” Fran asked.

“Yes,” Cass said. “This is Flick. His fins flash in the sun.”

Fran, Ken, and Cass think up a quick skit with Socks, Spot, and Flick. Ken, Cass, and Fran put it on for Miss Bond and Class Six. The kids laugh and clap when it is done. It is a big hit in Class Six!
