Many animals have tails. These tails can be different sizes. Tails can be big or small, and thick or thin.

Is it good that some animals have tails? Yes, it is! Tails can do different things. Tails have big jobs!

How can a dog use its tail? A dog may wag its tail fast to say, “Hi! I am so glad to see you.” A dog may chase its tail to play.

A tail helps a dog to swim well. It helps the dog go this way or that way.

A fox may use its tail as a quilt when it naps.

A chill is in the air, but this fox will not freeze as it sleeps. Its big tail will be a big help. We can say this fox will stay as snug as a bug in a rug!
