Colors change how we think about what's inside. Colors can make things look exciting, interesting, and delicious.

Packages of toys come in very bright colors. Children are attracted to colors that are easy to see. Strong reds, greens, and blues make toys look exciting.

Children's books also use bright colors. Imagine an orange book and a gray book. What seems interesting to you?

Ripe foods look better to eat. For the same reason, soda and candy come in colorful packages. Colorful cans, bottles, and wrappers make them look sweeter.

Think about the different products that come in. How are they trying to make you feel?
