English Class: Verb Conjugation
By Kevin Luna and Miah Luna
2
How are the verbs conjugated?
Depending on the grammatical persons that we use, this is how the verbs will be conjugated, for example:
I run with my friend in the park this morning
She eats faster than me.
They have copied the class in twenty minutes
3
If we look at the previous examples...
We can see that "run" is in its natural form, on the other hand, "eat" has an "s" at the end, but why? This is because the rule says that if the grammatical person is "He", "She" or "It", then "s" is added to the verb with some exceptions ( which we will see later ), in the end, we can see that "copy" does not end in "y", but ends in "ed", "copied", this is because the verb is conjugated for its past form, that its, transcribed
