Camp Schedule

  • Everyday, we will follow a similar schedule.

  • 8:00-8:30: arrival and fitness

  • 8:30-9:30: class 1

  • 9:30-9:45: snack

  • 9:45-10:45: class 2

  • 10:45-11:30: class 3

  • 11:30-12:00: lunch

  • 12:30-1:30: activity block

  • 1:30-1:50 trade-in

  • 1:50 - pack up for dismissal

Camp Schedule

  • During the fitness block, you will have a chance to walk around the track.

  • Each day, you will have a reading, writing, and math block.

  • Some students will have speech during those blocks.

  • During lunch, you will be assigned to a room to eat. We may put on a show sometimes. You will know your assigned room the second week of camp.

  • The activity block changes each day. The next slide shows all the activities we will be doing. You will be assigned to a group for the activities.

Using the Bathroom/Getting Water

  • During the summer, my body needs more water because I do so much sweating. Sweating is healthy because it keeps my body cool. But, I need to keep drinking to replace the lost water.

  • If I don't drink enough water, I will become dehydrated. When I am dehydrated, I may feel tired, have a headache, and be annoyed with people around me.

  • I should bring a water bottle to camp every day and carry it with me from place to place.

  • If I forget my water bottle, the best time to use the bathroom or get water is during the last 10 minutes of class.

Trade In

  • Students in DI are very lucky, because every day, they have a block called Trade-in.

  • During Trade-in, students can draw, use their computers, do legos, or play board games with friends.

  • Trade-in takes place from 1:30-1:50pm.

  • Trade-in is earned by having expected behavior.​
