Sentence structure: the basics

The rules:

  1. A complete sentence always has a noun and a verb (just like in Russian).*

  2. Adjectives can go directly before the noun they describe, or after it, if separated by a verb.

  3. A compound subject includes two or more simple subjects, hence it can include more than one subject(s).

    *except for imperative sentences.

  • For non-specific objects/subjects used in a sentence.
