What is a presentation?
•
When you would like to talk about any topic
in front of a group of people, you are going to
give a presentation.
•
You become a presenter, and the people who
listen to you become your audience.
•
You can give your presentation offline or
online.
•
You should prepare materials for your
presentation.
4
Why do we should make slides for a presentation?

Making slides is one of many good ways to help you show your
content.
•
Slides will help your audience follow and understand your ideas.

Some tips for making good slides:
1.
The first slide must have the title of your presentation and the presenter's name.
2.
You must outline your presentation. In other words, you must create a slide introducing the
main parts of the presentation.
3.
With each main part of your content, you should clarify, explain your idea with clear sentences,
by giving examples, showing pictures, or videos, etc.
4.
Don’t put too many words on a slide, or your audience will be confused. Clear sentences and
main ideas are the best!
5.
To make your presentation more interactive, you can ask questions for the audience to discuss.
6.
You can create a slide to greet the audience at the beginning and a slide to thank them for
listening at the end of the presentation.
