I can memorize rules, routines and expectations for Mr. Jones's class.
We will be going over rules, routines and expectations for my class today. At the end of the class, you will have a short assessment to test your ability to recognize the rules, routines and expectations.

Find your Chat Buddy
Stand up and find your chat buddy
You have one minute to tell them how you are feeling. Remember, only the person talking can speak. The person who is not talking must smile and listen only. The one closest to the ceiling goes first. Remember to stop talking when Mr. Jones raises his fist.

Morning Routine
Students will go to breakfast before they go to their homeroom.
Students will come on the seventh grade hallway quietly and walking on the right side
Students will enter the classroom and sit in their seat before going to their locker
When students enter the class, grab your chromebook and begin working on Freckle
Your teacher will tell you when you go to your locker
Students will go to lockers once so grab everything you need

Morning Routine Continued
Students are expected to put their cell phones, smart watches and any other electronics in their lockers
All food and drinks, except plastic water bottles, should be stored in a lunchbox.
Students will come back into the class quietly and continue working on Freckle
Students will be required to complete an hour of Math and ELA practice each week
Students should use the bathroom at home in the morning as we will not go to the bathroom until 9:50am every day
Students are expected to be in their seats and ready to learn at 8:30 a.m.

Bathroom Routine and Times
Bathroom times are 9:50 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.
All boys who need to use the restroom in the class will line up at the door during these two times. Lines will be single filed and quiet. Girls are to stay in their seat.
Boys will be escorted to the bathroom all together.
Girls will be told when to line up. Any girl standing up before they are told will have their parents called.
Boys will return to the classroom quietly and to their seat. Any boy caught standing when I return, will receive a parent contact.
Girls who need to use it will then be escorted to the bathroom. Please return quickly and quietly to your seat when done. Failure to do so will result in a parent contact.
