Sometimes writers use clue words such as because, so, or since to signal cause and effect. A cause may have more than one effect, and an effect have more than one cause.

For my class, I like to teach in a cause and effect manner. I feel this ensures students grasp not only our themes, but out we got to present day (based on past actions).

For this first part, you will read the passage not he next slide and then answer the questions that follow.

They are made by people who participated in the event being described. Primary sources can be letters, diaries, documents, speeches, interviews, photographs, paintings, artifacts, newspapers, and more.
