Study skills refer to the skills you need to learn effectively and make the best use of your time.

We're going to go through a list of skills you can develop. The key is to build these gradually.

Types of Study Skills

Study skills are habits you gradually build to become an effective learner. They include skills such as being prepared and organised, punctuality, research, note-taking and revision, time-management and managing your work-life balance.

These skills are not only useful in college, but will also help you in employment and future studies. Who doesn't like an organised, punctual employee?

Study Skills - Key Points
  • You will develop your own personal approach to study and learning.

  • Study skills are not subject specific - they are transferable skills.
