  • Prompt: During times of crisis such as 9/11 and the Coronavirus Pandemic, the following seems to reappear "You don't need a cape to be a hero."

  • Explain what this quote means to you, do you agree or disagree with it? (why or why not)

  • Define the word "Hero" in your own words and explain the qualities or characteristics a "Hero" must have.

  • Discuss someone in "your world" (family member, friend, teacher, community member) or a category of people such as firefighters, doctors, police offcers, or military members you believe to be a true hero. Be sure to support your choice with reasons and evidence how they're heroic.
