• 19 men hijacked four airplanes on the morning of September 11th, 2001.

• Two of the planes hit the North and South Towers in New York

• Third plane hit the Pentagon

• Fourth plane crashed in a field in Shanksville, Pennsylvania after the passengers on the plane fought against the hijackers.

• Terrorist organization (Al-Qaeda) took responsibility for the attack
