When you start to multiply you always start by putting the HIGHER number on TOP. Then you start from right to left so lets say the question is 555 times 555. You would start 5 times 5 which is 25. You would carry the 2 and continue with the middle number 5 times 5 is 25 plus 2 is 27 so you would carry the 2 and continue again. 5 times 5 is 25 plus 2 is 27 so your answer would be 2,775.

Any time that you divide you will have to do more complex things but an easy one is 20 divided by 2. One way that you can solve this problem is 2 times 10 which will equal 20. Another way is count by 2´s until you get to 20 with your fingers and once you get to 20 count how many fingers you have and you will get your answer.
