G5 - Population size

Population size can describe all species, not just humans.

The squirrel population in my neighbourhood might be 250.

The black walnut tree population in my neighbourhood might be 670.

Juvenile population is made up a people under the age 18.

The adult population is made up of people between the ages of 18 and 65.

The senior population is made up of people over the age of 65.

​Population Groups

Active population is made up of people who are working and receive money for the work

Inactive population is made up of people who can't work and people who work but do not receive any money
