Post Funeral Follow-up

• Delivery of Certified Copies of Death Certificates

  • These will typically arrive after the funeral

  • Funeral Directors and Family Service Counselors will deliver the certified copies and check in with the family to see if they have any additional needs.

Post Funeral Follow-up

• Finalize memorial merchandise (marker, urn, keepsakes, etc.)

  • Personalized items will sometimes take a bit longer than the actual service.

  • Funeral Directors and Family Service Counselors can sometimes meet with the family weeks or months after the funeral or purchase to deliver merchandise.

Post Funeral Follow-up

• Return of cremated remains, if applicable

  • In the case of cremation, the final disposition can be delayed

    • Sometimes the funeral director will meet with the family to release the cremated remains for home placement,

    • Sometimes Cemetery placement is at a later date.
