Indian Empire Trade
Indian rulers built roads throughout their empire, connecting neighboring cities together this improved travel & trade. It also allowed for more interactions and communication among people and encouraged the exchange of cultures, religion and ideas. The Indian empire shared their ideas and inventions of scientific, mathematical, and cultural achievements throughout travel and trade. One of the most influential contributions of the Indian empire was the creation of their numeric system.

Indian Achievements
India created a stable environment where artists,
writers, scholars, and scientists could thrive. Their
works are still admired today. Much of the Indian art from this period was religious, inspired by both Hindu and Buddhist teachings. Many beautiful
temples were built during this time and decorated with elaborate wood and stone carvings.

Scientific and scholarly work also blossomed during the early Indian empires. Most
prominent was the development of metallurgy, the science of working with metals. I

In medicine, Indians developed the technique of inoculation, which is injecting a person with a small dose of a virus to help him or her build up defenses to a disease. When people were injured, Indian doctors performed surgery. Surgeons repaired broken bones, treated wounds, removed infected tonsils, reconstructed broken noses, and even reattached torn earlobes. If they could not find a cure for an illness, doctors performed magic spells to help people recover.
