Community vs Population

Community is the group of living things that share an environment.
Think of your neighborhood. What living things do you see in your neighborhood? That's your community!

A population refers to the specific species. For example, the humans in your neighborhood are a population. The squirrels are another population. The different populations make up the community.

The living things in an environment consist of plants, animals, fungus, bacteria, and more!
