You can get ranked up based on your behavior, grades and extra-curricular.

Private First Class is the SECOND rank. This is the rank you will recieve when you get promoted.

Private First Class

This is a rank that is rarely achieved in the first year of jROTC (9th grade). but commonly recieved in the cadets' second year.

Corporal

This is a rank that is rarely achieved in the second year. This rank is ONLY achieved by completing a Promotion Board.

A promotion board is a board held by the jROTC instructors and leadership cadets. They ask you simple questions and determine whether you get ranked up to sergeant or above.
