Sentence
A sentence begins with a capital letter and ends with a punctuation mark.

Type of sentence
A DECLARATIVE SENTENCE tells something and end with a period. Example: James lives in the city.

An INTEROGATIVE SENTENCE asks a question and ends with a question mark. Example: Has James ever lived in the city?
An EXCLAMATORY SENTENCE express strong feeling and ends with a exclamation point. Example: James is the best friend I ever had!
