The atmosphere makes it possible for humans to live on Earth.

Lets start evaporation. It is the first step of the water cycle. Evaporation is when the water turns into vapor, or air.

The Sun heats up water and causes it to change states from a liquid to a gas. Water changes into water vapor.

Condensation

As water vapor begins to cool, it changes from a gas back into a liquid in the clouds

Precipitation

Rain, snow, sleet or hail that falls from clouds

Collection/Accumulation

Large amounts of water can gather in a place such as a puddle, lake, ocean, etc.

The water cycle is an important part of daily life. Without it plants and animals as well as life on Earth, would not exist.
