• A group of HM and all the teachers constituted to discuss planning and monitoring of all programmes

Functions of Staff Council

• To implement the academic and co-curricular activities

• To assess the academic work regularly

• To plan the academic work regularly

• plan celebrations

• To support the teachers when facing difficulties

• Works out plan to maintain discipline

• To prepare year and unit plan

• Toplan important festivals and celebrations

• To support teachers when he/she experiences problems

Functions of Staff Council

• A secretary elected should keep the records of staff meeting.

• The agenda should be prepared in advance and circulated among teachers.

• HM will convene the function democratically with the co-operation of all staffs to express their views.

• Unhealthy criticism should be avoided.

• Decisions should be recorded and to be kept.

• Council should not take place in the class time

STUDENTS COUNCIL

• It is a union of students either elected democratically or nominated to participate in meetings regarding the academic and co curricular activities

• It helps the administrators in conducting literary activities, cultural functions sports etc.

• Inculcates democratic values in pupils, effective method for citizenship training

• Gives ample space for self-expression evaluation.

• improves staff-student relationship

• Helps to maintain discipline in the school, enrichment of personal and community life in schools

STUDENTS COUNCIL

• Sacrifices self-interests for the welfare of the student community,

• promotes personality development

• To propose educational, and recreational activities to improve the quality of school

• To discuss the problems of the students and find the solution with the staff council or PTA/SMC

• To communicate the student's opinion to the authorities
