In Korean culture, showing respect is important, and using the appropriate greeting is a sign of politeness. So, next time you meet someone from Korea, say Annyeonghaseyo to make a good impression! Annyeong is the informal way to say Hello in Korean, so basically just think of it as hey or hi. It is commonly used when greeting someone that you've already seen before, or you already know, and your not in a formal setting.
