Population density Lab

Instructions

In order to measure the population density of a pond we need a baseline. When you get into the lab on the next slide click go on the top left of the simulation. After the tadpoles start swimming around select the size net you will use and click the dip net button. Now that you have some tadpoles mark them. After you have marked a few release them. they will mix with the unmarked ones, and we can now see how start checking the population. Dip your net into the water again this time don't mark them instead look at the bottom of the simulation and record the information in the boxes so you can do the math on the next slide.
