​The pyramids were closed!

​Last week, Pops was on a trip to Egypt, Antarctica and Brazil. Eva and Mac weren't with him. They were at school. The trip was a disaster.
На прошлой неделе Дедуля был в путешествии по Египту, Антарктике и Бразилии. Евы и Мака с ним не было, они были в школе. Путешествие оказалось полной катастрофой.

​Pops: Hi, kids, I'm back! Here are some photos. Look! 

Mac: How was your trip?

Pops: It was terrible!

Eva: Oh, no! Why?

Pops: On Monday, I was in Egypt. It was nice and sunny, but the pyramids were closed!           They are always closed on Mondays!

Eva: Oh dear!

Pops: On Wednesday, I was in Antarctica. It was windy and snowy, and I was lost. 

Mac: Were you scared, Pops?

Pops: Yes, I was. There were some penguins, but they weren't very helpful.

Eva: Maybe they were lost too!

Pops: On Friday, I was in Brazil, in the jungle. It was rainy and I was hungry. There were some bananas in a  tree,  but there was a big monkey too!

Mac: Was it friendly?

Pops: No, it wasn't!

Eva:  Oh, poor Pops! Here, have a cup of tea.

Pops:  Thanks, kids. It's good to be back home!
