跟……一样(yīyàng) is used to express that two things are the
same in some way.

1. 我跟他一样帅。
2. 你跟他一样好看。
3. 小八跟小月一样胖。

A +跟 / 和 + B + 一样 + Adj.

比You could think of 比 (bǐ) as meaning "than," except that it sits between the two things
being compared. The word order will take a little getting used to, but aside from that, the pattern
is quite easy.

1. 我比他帅。
2. 你比他好看。
3. 小八比小月胖。

A + 比 + B + adjective

不比To say that something is not more adjective as another, you can use 不比
(bù bǐ)

1. 我不比他帅。
2. 你不比他好看。
3. 小八不比小月胖。

A + 不比+ B + adjective

没有express that something is “not as” adjective as something else.

1. 我没有他帅。
2. 你没有他好看。
3. 小八没有小月胖。

A + 没有+ B + adjective

are used to express that two things are the same or not same.

一样/不一样

are used to express that two things are the same or not same.

1. 我们有一样的爱好。
2. 他们有不一样的爱好。

AB + 有 + 一样 / 不一样 + 的+ phrases

虽然…但是(suīrán... dànshì...) expresses that while the

former part of the sentence is true, there is an adverse reaction in the latter part.

1. 虽然我们有很多爱好不一样，

但是我们也有很多相同的爱好。
