The main biomes in the seychelles are marine, forest, mangrove and tropical rainforest. The seychelle islands are located in the continent of Africa.

Seychelles Blue Pigeon

(or its scientific name Alectroenas pulcherrimus) lives on the beautiful islands of the Seychelles. Its diet consists of a veriaty of fruits, nuts and seeds such as the wild guavas, cinnamon berries and nuts of takamaka and seed on the ground. It lives up to 2-4 years and the animals that prey on them are larger birds. Common vocalization is a long, quick series of short growling notes, also its dark blue coloration and its pale head easily seperate it from all other pigeons.

(or its scientific name Lycodon capucinus) lives in the subtropical or tropical dry forests and tropical moist lowland forests of the islands. Its diet consists of mall lizards such as geckos, skinks and sometimes small frogs, if available. Their lifespan is up to 10 years and they have no predators. This snake is one of the fastest snakes in the world and it has two large sharp teeth but it is surprisingly not venomous

The Palm Spider

(or its scientific name ephila inaurata madagascariensis) of the islands. Its diet consists of mall lizards such as geckos, skinks and sometimes small frogs, if available. Their lifespan is upto 10 years and they have no predators. They build their webs 1.5 to 6 meters above the ground and their silk is golden in color.
