Mount Everest is the tallest mountain on Earth.
Mount Everest is a part of a mountain range called the Himalayas.
Mount Everest doesn’t just sit in one country. It lies between Nepal and Tibet.
Because Mount Everest is so big, when climbers get near the top, the air gets very thin. There’s less oxygen up there, which makes it harder to breathe.
