The Future Indefinite Tense

We use this tense to make PREDICTIONS, OFFERS and PROMISES. We also use this tense for DECISIONS made at the time of speaking.

Be Going to" to Express a Prediction - The year 2022 is going to be a very interesting year. - John Smith is going to be the next President.

Present Progressive

We use this tense to talk about ARRANGEMENTS for the future. Future When we are talking about what we have already arranged to do. What are you doing tomorrow evening? I'm going to the theatre. Are you playing football tomorrow? 1am leaving tomorrow. = it means that I have ticket o al am ready to go. I arranged everything

WE USE 'will' with - • "I think, I promise, I wish, I guess, I hope, I am sure" • FOR EXAMPLE:
• I think l'll go to bed now.
•I think she'll do well in the job.
• I hope you won't make too much noise.

We use this tense to talk about DECISIONS, PLANS and INTENTIONS made before the time of speaking. • Going to="Gonna" e.g. I am gonna buy a new phone. • future plans We're going to buy a new car next month.
