​PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE

​PRESENT PERFECT SIMPLE is used to talk about actions that happened in the past. We DON'T know/mention when they happened!

​We also use present perfect to talk about actions that happened in the past but have an effect in the present.

Example:
Look! There has been an accident (I can see the damaged car and the injured people).
