Objectives of today's lesson

You will learn about:
1) The 7 continents and 5 oceans
2) How do geographers use the world map to identify places


NOTE: You must remember what you have learnt today because we will have a quiz next week!

The Earth is divided into 7 large land masses known as continents.

​Part 1: The 7 continents

From space, earth looks blue. That's because 70% of the earth is water!
The body of water is broken up into 5 oceans!

​Part 2: The Oceans

Each of the continents are further broken up into REGIONS

On each continent, the land is broken up into smaller areas called countries, and each country can be further broken up into cities!
