In Spanish, you can tell that a verb is in the

infinitive form because it will end in the

two letters,

-AR, -ER, or -IR.

hablar, comer, escribir

WHY GUSTAR?

With this lesson you are learning to say what
people like and do not like to do.

In Spanish, we use a conjugated form of the
verb GUSTAR before a verb in the infinitive form
to talk about what people like to do.

To turn these English

verbs into an infinitive, you
would just put the word "to"

in front of it.

Examples: to walk, to run, to

play, etc.
