Tier 1 Teacher Interventions
Best Practices: to remind students of the school-wide expectations and the classroom agreements.
Academic and behavioral expectations should be a part of your daily classroom routine.
Create classroom agreements and refer back to them.
Create and share progressive intervention plan with students (in your syllabus or course outline).
Set up Valley Gold for positive reinforcement.

The Classroom Agreements are the behavior expectations that we have
for all Valley classes as a Falcon community.
This is an AGREEMENT between everyone.
Ask your students during the first few weeks of school:
What do you think being connected looks like in this class?
What do you think being lifelong learners looks like in this class?
What do you think being strong looks like in this class?

COST
A Coordination of Services Team (COST) constitutes a strategy for managing
and integrating various learning supports and resources for students. COST
teams identify and address student needs holistically and ensure that the
overall system of supports works together effectively. They often include
administration, counseling, outreach coordinator,
