​Transforming plate boundary

Plates that slide past each other horizontally, causing earthquakes.

​Converging plate boundary

Plates that move towards each other, leading to subduction, mountain formation, trenches, and volcanoes.

​Diverging plate boundary

Plates that move apart, allowing magma to rise, forming new crust at mid-ocean ridges or rift valleys.

On a blank piece of paper, design a poster about either transforming, diverging or converging plate boundaries. Use your computer to research. Include:
