Electrical Circuits

Multiple Choice

Which of the following pictures is called cells?

Multiple Choice

It is a component of electric circuit that provides electrical energy .

• cells

• light bulb

• wire

• switch

Multiple Choice

What is a switch's function in a circuit?

• to make the current hotter or colder

• turn on and off the electric current

• the pathway that current flows

• to add more power to the circuit

Multiple Choice

It connects the components of electrical circuit.

• light bulb

• battery

• wire

• switch

One of the components is not connected making the electric current can not flow

OPEN CIRCUIT

All the components are connected that let electric current flow through

CLOSED CIRCUIT

Multiple Choice

What type of circuit is shown in the picture?

• open circuit

• closed circuit

Multiple Select

Will the electric current flow in this picture?

• Yes

• No

In series circuit, if there are more components (more lamps but the same amount of cells) the lamps will glow dimmer.

BRIGHTNESS OF LAMPS

Multiple Choice

Which circuit will light the lamps brighter?

Multiple Choice

Which circuit will light the lamps brighter?

ELECTRICAL CONDUCTORS AND INSULATORS

Multiple Choice

Material that can conduct electric current is called ____.

• electrical conductor

• electrical insulator

• magnetic

• non-magnetic

Multiple Select

Which material can connect the gap in the wire?

Choose two correct answer.

Multiple Choice

Why is electrical wiring usually made from copper?

• Because copper is shiny

• Because copper conducts electricity

• Because copper is not magnetic

• Because copper insulate electricity

Multiple Select

Why electrical wiring usually are covered with a layer of plastic?

Choose more than one correct answer.

• So we won't get electric shock when touch it

• To help electricity flow along the wire

• To insulate electric current

• To add more energy

Symbol of cells

Symbol of lamp

Symbol of wire

Symbol of switch
