A network is two or more computers talking to each other.

It's the biggest network ever. Hundreds of thousands of millions of computers, all connected together.
So then, what's the internet?

By understanding how the internet works, you can use it more effectively, be an informed voter, and be able to protect yourself online.

Dial-up internet was slow because there wasn't a lot of bandwidth. You couldn't get a lot through because there physically wasn't the technology.
