Baba Camel, Mama Camel and
Baby Camel lived near some
sand dunes too.

5

It was
Ramadan.
Mama

When Mama Camel looked
at the rice she said, “The
rice is too hot!”

7

media

Baby Camel
said, “The
sun is still in
the sky!”

8

media
media

Baba Camel
said, “We can
go for a walk.
Insh’Allah,
when we get
back it will be
time for iftar.”

9

media
media

“Good idea!” said Mama Camel.
So off went the camels for a walk.

10

media
media

Ebonybraids was
taking a walk in the
sand dunes and came
to the tent of the
camels.

11

media
media

She shouted
out, “Asalaamu
alaikum!
Asalaamu
alaikum!” But no
one answered.
So she went
inside - without
permission!

12

media
media

Ebonybraids
was not
fasting but
she was still
hungry.

13

media
media

Inside she saw three bowls of rice.

14

media
media

She ate some rice from the biggest bowl
and said, “Subhan Allah! This is too hot!”

15

media
media

Then she ate some rice from the second
bowl and said, “Subhan Allah! This is too
cold!”

16

media
media

Then she ate rice from the smallest bowl
and said, “Yummy! Alhamdulilah. This is just
right!” And she ate it all up!

17

media
media

Ebonybraids was thirsty. She poured
some coffee and said, “This coffee is
too hot!”

18

media
media

Ebonybraids poured some tea and said,
“This tea is too cold!”

19

media
media

Then she saw a glass of milk and said,
“Yummy! Alhamdulilah. This is just right!” And she
drank it all up!

20

media
media

Now Ebonybraids
was very tired!
So she went into
the bedroom.

21

media
media

She tried the first bed and said,
“Subhan Allah! This is too hard!”

22

media
media

Then she tried the second bed and
said, “Subhan Allah! This is too soft!”

23

media
media

Then she tried the third bed and said,
“Yes! Alhamdulilah! This is just right!” and
she lay down and went to sleep.

24

media
media

A little while later the three camels came
back. It was almost time for iftar.

25

media
media

Baba Camel said,
“Subhan Allah!
Who’s been
eating my rice?”

26

media
media

Mama Camel
said, “Subhan
Allah! Who’s
been eating
my rice?”

27

media
media

Baby Camel said,
“Subhan Allah!
Who’s been eating
my rice and eaten
it all up?”

28

media
media

Then Baba Camel said, “Subhan Allah!
Who’s been drinking my coffee?”

29

media
media

Mama Camel said, “Subhan Allah!
Who’s been drinking my tea?”

30

media
media

Baby Camel said, “Subhan Allah!
Who’s been drinking my milk and
drank it all up?”

31

media
media
media

Then the camels went into their bedroom.
Baba Camel said, “Who’s been sleeping in my
bed?”

32

media
media

Mama Camel said, “Who’s been
sleeping in my bed?”

33

media
media

Baby Camel said, “Who’s been
sleeping in my bed and is still
sleeping in it?”

34

media
media

Just then
Ebonybraids
woke up and
was so
frightened that
she jumped up
and ran all the
way home!

35

media
media

When Ebonybraids
told her mom and
dad where she had
been they were
very upset.

36

media
media

“Wrong action!”
Astagfirullah!”
said Mama.

“Wrong action!”
Astagfirullah!”
said Baba.

37

media
media

“Sorry.
Astagfirullah,”
said Ebonybraids.

38

media
media

The next day
Baba and Mama
and Ebonybraids
took coffee, tea,
milk, rice and
gaimat, to the
Camel family.

39

media
media

Ebonybraids said,
“I’m very, very
sorry. Please
forgive me.”

40

media
media

“We forgive you!” said Mama Camel.
“Please stay for iftar!”
“Jazak Allahu khairan! Thank you!”
said Ebonybraids and her parents.
