What is the Snipping Tool

The Snipping Tool is a program on your
computer that will allow you to grab a

screenshot of anything on your computer.

Where is the Snipping Tool?

You can find the Snipping Tool by clicking on the

search feature and typing in Snip.

How to Pin to the Task Bar

Once you have the item open on your desktop.
You will right click the icon on the task bar and

select ‘Pin to Taskbar’.

What is the CS/DEF Communication Group?

The CS/DEF Communication Group and a Microsoft
Teams room that is designated for Customer Success
to contact the Lab to ask more in-depth questions
about the cropping or retouching of images that they
may not know the answer to.

Where is the CS/DEF Communication Group?

You all will be added to the CS/DEF Communication
Group. It will be in the Microsoft Teams window under
the “Teams” list.

Why do we crop?

Images must be cropped to ensure
that they can be printed without
being distorted.

How do we crop?

An image will be cropped different
ways. An 8x10 will crop differently
than what a 5x7 or wallet will.

Any Restrictions?

We try to avoid cropping from
Vertical to Horizontal.

Retouching Services Policy

If a retouching service isn't listed, that means we don't offer it under normal circumstances. The only exception is in highly escalated cases which would need to go to ART.

Educate customers if the retouching level they selected doesn't include the desired services. If the customer pushes back, accommodate based on the situation:

Option 1

• Customer must return their order before receiving a full refund, then place a new order with the correct retouching

Option 2

• Submit a WebCR to apply the requested Retouching

​IMPORTANT
We should only be offering Option 1 to our Customers. Only offer Option 2 if absolutely necessary or in highly escalated situations.
