• “Most people live in places with some sun, rain, or snow. But there are people living in places with extreme weather conditions. I wanted to find out what life was like for them.”

  There’s not much to eat in a place like Oymyakon, where weather is extreme.

• “People eat reindeer and horse meat—that’s about it. They drink the milk from their animals, too, to stay healthy. They can grow things for a short time during the summer. But they don’t eat many fruits or vegetables.”
