  1. Guess meaning first

If you see a new word in a text that you are reading, don’t go immediately to your dictionary. First, try to guess the meaning through context.

It is necessary to decide whether the word or phrase is worth looking it up because it time-demanding so you better develop the guessing the general idea from context ability.

Now read slowly, chewing words and respecting punctuation. If you come up with a word you don't know the pronunciation, just make it up.
