I am honored to be with you today at your commencement from one of the finest universities in the world.

I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life and no idea how college was going to help me figure it out, so I decided to drop out and believe that it would all work out ok.

人生をどうしたいかもわからず，大学がどうやって私にそれがわかるよう手助けしてくれるのかもわからなかったので，私は中退して，すべてうまくいくだろうと信じることにしたんですね。

It was pretty scary at the time, but looking back, it was one of the best decisions I ever made.

そのときはとても怖かったですが，振り返ってみると，それは私がこれまでした中で最良の決断の１つでした。

The minute I dropped out, I could stop taking the required classes that were not interesting to me, and begin dropping in on whatever class looked interesting.

中退した瞬間に，興味のない必修科目を取るのをやめ，おもしろそうな授業には何でも顔を出し始めることができたのですから。
