​What are adjectives and how do they work?

• role: describing nouns, which are people, places, things or ideas

  Ego is tall. Ego est grand. Ego est un homme grand.

• position: usually AFTER the thing they describe.

• form: many adjectives have 4 forms because they mirror the

  • noun in gender (masculine/feminine) and number (singular/plural)

    Exemple: GRAND (tall)

    Robert est grand. Marie est grande.

  • Robert et Paul sont grands. Marie et Sophie sont grandes.
